1-2-1 (individual) and small group work

Ruth is available to work with individuals on a 1:1 basis or in small groups. Her emphasis is on allowing each individual the space and time to develop their own creative voice. Alongside her experience and own creative journey she will help assist, support and encourage in an energetic, fun and supportive way.

'I get a huge amount of pleasure in assisting all to achieve their own personal creative voice, to help encourage and support each and everybody in all contexts of the artistic field. I love nothing more than seeing every person realise their creativity and to embrace it with confidence and conviction, overcoming issues and challenges which allows their practice to flourish. I believe in a fun and flexible approach, that questions and allows for experimentation and trial & error. I believe in art there is no right and wrong, just a thirst for development and evolution. Whether a mere beginner or more experienced artist i will help you find your creative way in a relaxed and fluid way. I can teach in all media and in both 3D and 2D form.'

Beautiful...after nearly 45years of not painting....this is the result after the one day expressive and experimental painting course.

Hello Ruth
Just a short message to say how well everything went on Tuesday afternoon 14th July. With your support and guidance I was able to release myself from several of my stumbling blocks that effect my paintings. As I said whilst we worked together , its important to have that interaction with someone, who really knows what is required and is able to provide clear and positive guidance. Even if you did give me homework to help me take forward the excellent work we have all ready done.

Again thank you for all your good work and most of all your support in helping me past the “rocks” in my path.

therapeutic art work

'I have been humbled to work with, and facilitate workshops with those who have various disabilities, from mental health issues, to physical difficulties. Art is immensely therapeutic, and from my experience and the positive outcomes i have witnessed, i have seen time and time again the power and importance of this form of expression. I believe that art allows a platform of self expression, discovery and a voice for all, regardless of background, age gender or any other distinguishing factor. As i progress further on my own artistic journey, art in a therapeutic form is an area i am passionate on developing and facilitating, thus enabling me to offer it more widely as a fundamental player in mental, physical and spiritual well-being, growth and health.'
